How do I create my first payslip?

Sign up for a free account, add an employee from the Employees page, then go to Payslips and click "Create Payslip". Select the employee, choose the country, fill in earnings and deductions, and generate the PDF.

Which countries are supported?

CleverSlip supports payslip generation for multiple countries including the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand, and more. Each country has localised templates and labels.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Upgrade. Choose a plan (Starter, Pro, or Business) and complete checkout via Stripe. Your new limits take effect immediately.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, cancel anytime from Dashboard > Settings. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. You won't be charged again.

How do I access the API?

The REST API is available on the Business plan. Create an API key from Dashboard > API, then use Bearer token authentication. See our API docs for full endpoint reference.

What are the API rate limits?

Accepted Answer

API requests are limited to 120 requests per minute per API key. If you exceed this limit, you'll receive a 429 status code. Wait before retrying.

How is my data protected?

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We never store card details — payments are handled by Stripe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I export or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can export payslips as PDFs and employee data as CSV. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at info@cleverslip.com.
